All primary and secondary schools in Kenya, will reopen on Monday tomorrow , as stipulated in the academic calendar.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba confirmed that schools will reopen on date 24 of August, and has dismissed rumors that the academic calendar has been altered.
All parents and learners, are currently planning thoroughly, for next week, schools will remain open for nine weeks, after which they will close again, for the December long holiday break. As per the academic calendar, there will be no half term break.
All national exams, will also be done this term, with grade 6 candidates, doing their KPSEA national exams, on date 26 of October, to date 29. Grade nine learners will also do their KJSEA national exams on date 26, to date 5 of November.
Form Four candidates will also do their KCSE national exams, on date 5 of November, to date 20. The December long holiday break, will end on date 1 of January, 2027.
