On Friday this week, the Ministry of Education will publish the KCSE Results 2025, much awaited by the candidates and parents across the country. There have been many reports relating to the proceedings of the KCSE results, and increasing concern has been shown publicly due to perceived delays of the National Examinations Results.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba advised the public that everything is going on schedule as planned, and as such, the time when KCSE results will be issued in January every year has become a norm over the past few years. The Ministry has completed the marking and verification of all KCSE results, which means it has cleared its way to making an official announcement of KCSE results.
A total of 929,262 candidates sat for the 2025 KCSE Examinations. The exams were conducted from October 21, 2025, to November 14, 2025.
During the examination process, several cases of irregularities were noted and subsequently led to investigations and disciplinary action as prescribed by the examination regulations.
The marking process had a disruption for a limited period when some of the markers protested against their working conditions at the marking centre in Thika.
