P1 Diploma And Degree Holders Barred From JSS Deployment. The deadline for applications is March 18, 2024. Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced that 6, 000 spots would be available for the deployment of P1 teachers to Junior Secondary School (JSS).
Beginning in May 2024, primary school P1 teachers will be assigned to teach in junior secondary schools.
The commission announced the aforementioned openings and requested that qualified educators provide it with a list of primary school instructors who are certified to instruct junior secondary students.
When classes resume for a second term, these educators are supposed to solve the massive shortfall that the Commission is currently experiencing.
TSC is still very keen and demands that it is that only primary school teachers with qualifications to teach in secondary school will be allowed to teach in junior secondary.
Therefore , this means that only primary school teachers with Diploma and have enrolled for Degree certificates in secondary option will be considered for deployment .
