Plans To Employ 20000 Teachers Officially Starts. Plans to hire more teachers have been announced by Ezekiel Machogu, the Cabinet Secretary at the Ministry of Education.
The CS was speaking on Wednesday, March 3rd at Kolanya Girl’s National School. Machogu said that the government is working to address the problem of the teacher-to-student ratio.
In addition, the CS disclosed the government’s plans, stating that 20,000 teachers will be hired in the current fiscal year. This will help a great deal in solving the teacher shortage and raise the teacher-to-student ratio.
Machogu praised the Kenya Kwanza government and emphasized on how many instructors were hired during President Ruto’s administration.
He stated that since the president assumed office, a total of 56,750 additional instructors have been hired. This has helped guarantee efficient operations in schools.
Machogu praised the ministry’s commitment to offering high-quality education as well as government initiatives to enhance the education sector.

Machogu claims that the government has also allocated sufficient funding to hire recently graduated teachers who are prepared to serve under the Teachers Service Commission.

- Clear copies of KCSE and kcpe certificates
- Clear copies of professionals Certificates, degree or Diploma
- Clear copy of identification card
- Certificate of good Conduct among others.
