Picking Of TSC Promoted Letters. According to CEO of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Nancy Macharia, letters for promotions to the next level would be sent to teachers who participated in promotion interviews.
According to Macharia, individuals who showed up for interviews in late 2018 and early 2024 will find out their outcome at any point this week.
Teachers who have been in the same work groups for years will be among those who stand to gain.
More than 36,000 promotion slots in elementary, secondary, and teacher training colleges were declared by TSC last year.
The promotion letters according to Macharia are expected to be sent to the teachers beginning this week as those who will be lucky will get improved salaries.
The commission invited applications for promotion from qualified teachers in August last year after which interviews were conducted at the county level in December 2023 as others spilled over to January this year.
