TSC Teaching Jobs For Teachers. For the 46,000 jobs it recently posted, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will extend the application deadline.
This comes after an ongoing technical issue with its database system that hampered the efficiency of the application process.
The Commission has already expressed regret for the technical difficulties teachers had when applying for the 46,000 teaching positions.
Teachers without a job and interns had until midnight on October 7th, October 7, to submit their applications to TSC.
However, a lot of unemployed instructors and intern teachers were annoyed as, among other mistakes, the unresponsive system rejected their applications and only showed “Dancer2.”
“We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing technical challenges affecting the teacher recruitment portal. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and kindly request your patience as we work diligently to restore the portal as soon as possible,” TSC said in a statement today.
TSC will address the problems with its online systems and set new deadline for application for the jobs.
The Commission has advertised 46,000 teaching jobs for teachers to apply. These are 6,000 posts for Primary Schools, 39, 550 posts for Junior Schools and 450 posts for Secondary Schools.
Intern teachers have been awarded 50 marks in the scoresheet that was released by the Commission this week.

This makes conversion of intern teachers to permanent and pensionable terms automatic. It also signals that teachers can only be employed on permanent terms after going through the internship process.
Below is the advert that was released by TSC, inviting intern and unemployed teachers to apply.
