TSC Salary For Senior Master I T- Scale 12 After Promotions. For institutional administrators in secondary schools, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) promotes teachers to senior master 1 – scale 12 grade, with better pay.
It is required of the teachers promoted to this grade level to mentor, consult, and encourage their fellow educators on a professional level.
Teachers are also obligated to carry out any administrative tasks allocated to them that are on the TSC list.
Following TSC’s announcement of available jobs, instructors who were promoted to this grade had to go through a competitive interview process in order to be considered.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT SENIOR MASTER I T- SCALE 12
A teacher must have held the position of Senior Master II or Deputy Principal III T-Scale 11 for at least three (3) years in order to be eligible for appointment to this grade. They must also have had a satisfactory rating during the performance appraisal process.
Along with having completed the necessary (TPD) modules successfully, the teacher must also hold a valid teaching certificate and be able to supervise, mentor, and support other instructors in the classroom.
In addition, the teacher must fulfill all conditions listed in Chapter 6 (6) of the Constitution and any additional requirements decided upon by the Commission at the time of appointment.
