The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has urged all teachers who are members of the Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) to register on the PSSF Member Self-Service Portal before the July 12, 2026 deadline, warning that failure to do so could delay the processing of their pension benefits.
In a statement issued on Friday, July 10, the commission said registration on the digital platform is mandatory for all eligible teachers enrolled in the pension scheme. TSC explained that the exercise is part of the government’s broader initiative to modernize pension management and improve the efficiency of service delivery through a fully digital system.
According to the commission, the transition to the online platform is expected to make it easier for members to access their pension information, update personal records, and manage their retirement accounts without unnecessary delays.
TSC noted that the registration window will close on **July 12, 2026**, and encouraged teachers who have not yet completed the process to do so before the deadline to avoid disruptions when processing future pension claims.
The commission also disclosed that only about **20,000 teachers** had successfully enrolled on the portal by the time the announcement was made, highlighting the need for more members to register within the remaining period.

Teachers have been advised to complete the registration through the official PSSF website or by downloading the PSSF mobile application available on the Google Play Store. The commission emphasized that both platforms provide secure and convenient access to pension services.
The latest directive reflects ongoing efforts by the government to digitize public service operations and improve the administration of retirement benefits. TSC has urged all affected teachers to act promptly, saying timely registration will help ensure smooth access to pension services and prevent unnecessary delays in the future.
