TSC New Documents For P1 Deployment To JSS. . P1 Teachers who applied via the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to be considered for junior secondary school deployment should begin getting ready for the much-awaited activity.
TSC stated that P1 instructors to be deployed to junior schools are anticipated to be posted as soon as the second term begins. This is when they announced the 6,000 positions.
Teachers who were not able to secure a slot during the first or second deployment will now have the opportunity to do so. This is provided that they applied after the Commission opened applications.
All of the certified P1 instructors who will be assigned will instruct junior secondary students in both grades 7 and 8.
Following receipt of the lists of successful applicants, TSC Sub-County Directors will also provide an official statement regarding the process of document verification and posting of the teachers.
TSC New Documents For P1 Deployment To JSS
The following are some requirements for individuals who will be deployed:
a.being in possession of active registration as a teacher under the Teachers Service Commission.
b.currently being serving as a primary school teacher employed with the Teachers Service Commission
C. currently not to be serving an interdiction or undergoing a disciplinary process.
d. Owning a Diploma in Education with a minimum of C+ at KCSE (or its equivalent).
e. Having minimum of C+ in two teaching subjects currently being offered in the school curriculum .
f.Alternatively having two (2) principles and one (1) subsidiary pass at A level.
Teachers who have earned a C (Plain) on the KCSE or an equivalent grade along with a diploma or bachelor’s degree in education are also acceptable.
These are the TSC-recommended documentation that P1 instructors should have with them as they await verification. .
i) Teacher’s original and copy of the degree/diploma certificate
ii) Teacher’s original and copies of the academic transcripts.
iii) Teacher’s original and copy of SNE qualification (for those with alternative needs).
iv) Additionally, Teacher’s original and copy of the KCSE certificate (an equivalent too accepted).
v) Teacher’s copy of the current payslip.
vi) Teacher’s declaration letter by the Head of Institution. To confirm that the teacher is currently serving in the school and has not bad records.
