P1 Deployment Letters To JSS. The third group of qualified PTE (P1 teachers) is anticipated to begin receiving deployment letters in 2024 in order to begin working in junior schools, per TSC’s proposal.
According to the TSC advertisement, after Sub-County Directors review the teachers’ documentation for review, 6000 teachers will be assigned to junior schools.
The Commission stated that it will only make sure that certified educators receive deployment letters when it announced the openings.
The teachers‘ documents need to be valid and thoroughly examined at the main office.
JSS SEVERE TEACHER SHORTAGE CONCERNS
TSC expressed concern earlier this year about the severe teacher shortage junior secondary schools following the 100 percent government transition policy as well as the new curriculum implementation.
According to TSC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nancy Macharia , there is a presence of disparity since Junior schools have employed only 56,928 teachers at the moment against the need for 99,045 teachers .
As a way of managing these challenges, TSC declared 6,000 deployment vacancies for primary school teachers who own secondary degrees.
P1 Deployment Letters To JSS
Qualified teachers were required to make online application by March 18, 2024.
TSC promised to have those who are successful to start receiving posting letters to work in the junior secondary school level early in this second term.
ENTRY /EXIT REPORTS
The commission mandates that the County Directors publish the entry or exit reports module to the Sub-County almost instantly for those who are deployed.
It is the duty of the TSC Sub-County Director to publish the letters that the P1 teachers wrote to JSS.
There isn’t any processing or collection of casualties in paper copy, according to the Commission. Teachers who are deployed will therefore need to finish the entry and exit processes online.
The head of the institution is expected to withdraw the teacher from primary school and submit the updated Entry Report for the JSS for those stationed at the same location.
