New Payroll Number For TSC Teachers Introduced. All workers of the Teacher Service Commission (TSC), including teachers, now have the same payroll numbers.
The action was done in response to the national government’s determination to implement the UHRS, or Unified Human Resource System, which is an integrated human resources system.
This decision was recently notified to all Public Service organizations by the Head of the Public Service, ushering in a new era of streamlined and integrated HR processes.
This groundbreaking system will act as a centralized repository for all public sector human resources data, including critical details such as payroll information.
One of the suggestions in the CARPS Report (2015) was to develop a “Unified Human Resource and Payroll Number generating system (UHR and IJPN) for the Public Service.”
As a result, each public employee must be assigned a unique and permanent identity number, as mandated by the Allocation System for Unified Payroll Numbers (UPN).
TSC decided to assign a unique UPN number to each of its payroll members, including instructors.
The TSC/Employment number and the UPN, sometimes known as the payroll number, are two unique identities that comprise the T-Pay System.
To better manage third-party checks, TSC has launched the T-Pay application platform, which allows employees and third-party firms to make check-off deductions.

Teachers who are enrolled with the commission can get their pay stubs online through the TSC application T-Pay.
Teachers merely need their TSC number and password to log in and access the portal’s services.
