List Of P1 Teachers To Be Deployed To JSS. The deadline for applications is March 18, 2024. Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced that 6, 000 slots would be available for the deployment of P1 teachers to Junior Secondary School (JSS).
Beginning in May 2024, primary school P1 teachers will be assigned to teach in junior secondary schools.
The commission announced the aforementioned openings and requested that qualified educators provide it with a list of primary school instructors who are certified to instruct junior secondary students.
When classes resume for a second term, these educators are supposed to solve the massive shortfall that the Commission is currently experiencing.

The TSC is still adamant that only primary school instructors who are certified to teach in secondary schools be permitted to teach in junior secondary education.
Thus, only primary school instructors who possess a diploma and have enrolled in a secondary option to earn a degree will be given consideration for deployment.
The commission is in the process of compiling the list of qualified teachers. The list will be ready after the lapse of the dealine and will be uploaded in the TSC website. All Teachers with degrees and diplomas in secondary option should get prepared to see their names in that list as they are qualified already.
Teachers holding different diplomas and degrees not recognized are automatically barred from teaching due to this TSC decision.
Here is a list of Diploma and Degree certificates NOT considered legible for deployment to junior secondary teaching.
1.Those with Diploma in Special Needs Education (SNE)
3.Those with Degree in Special Needs Education (SNE)
3.Those with Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
