KUCCPS 2024 TTC Requirements & List Of 35 Approved TTCs. After fulfilling the necessary prerequisites, students who wish to become teachers but did not manage a C+ can smile. On the Kuccps portal, they can enroll in Teacher Training Colleges (TTC).
Both the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) and the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) are available for study, according to Kuccps.
Applications can be submitted using the Kuccps applications site through April 4, 2024.
Interested applicants who took the KCSE exams between 2020 and 2023 can apply online for placement consideration, according to kuccps.
According to the updated placement rules, students who want to pursue an education diploma must earn a C plain or C- on the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
However, a C plan is required for those who wish to enroll in an education certificate program (formerly known as a P1 certificate).
The required minimum grade for application to both the DPTE and DECTE has been changed to a C (plain).
Applicants must use the e-Citizen program to pay Kuccps Ksh 1,500.
The need to have met a minimum of C plain in KCSE together with certain topic clusters was once in place for candidates to join TTC, however it has since been lifted.
