SUBJECT: RELEASE OF THE 2025 KENYA JUNIOR SCHOOL EDUCATION ASSESSMENT AND KENYA PRE-VOCATIONAL LEVEL EDUCATION ASSESSMENT RESULTS
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released results for the 2025 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and Kenya Pre-vocational Level Education Assessment (KPLEA).
In this regard, KNEC wishes to bring the following information to your attention:
1.0 Accessing Assessment Results
Results for individual candidates may be accessed through the web address https://kjsea.knec.ac.ke.
Heads of Institutions (Hols) are also enabled access result slips and print-outs for their centres through their respective institution portals.
1.1 The following is the procedure for accessing an individual candidate’s results through the web interface:
1.1.1 Visit the web address: https://kjsea.knec.ac.ke;
1.1.2 Enter the candidate’s Assessment Number and at least one of their names;
1.1.3 Accept the Data Privacy and Access notice;
1.1.4 Search for the results.
1.2 To access the institution’s results, the Heads of Institutions shall:
1.2.1 Log into the CBA portal (https://cba.knec.ac.ke);
1.2.2 Click on the ‘Results’ menu;
1.2.3 Click on the ‘Download link’ to access the institution’s results.
2.0 Reporting and interpretation of results
Candidates’ results will be reported using the following descriptors per subject:

Meeting Expectation ME1 6

Approaching Expectation AE1 4

3.0 Issuance of Assessment Results’ Print-outs
KNEC will issue hard copy of results print-outs to Assessment Centres that presented candidates for the 2025 KJSEA, capturing the following information:
3.1 Details of the Sub-county and Institution’s Assessment Centre Code (the unique number assigned to the school) and the institution’s name;
3.2 Candidates’ personal details, including their Assessment Numbers, gender and names;
3.3 Candidates’ Assessment results, indicating the level attained by each candidate in the subjects registered for (interpretation indicated in 2.0); and
3.4 Candidates’ overall performance in the three pathways, namely, Social Sciences; STEM; and Arts and Sports.
4.0 Issuance of Assessment Results slips
this communication to all candidates through their parents/guardians, and all other relevant stakeholders.
