TSC Phase 2 Salary Payrise 2024. While some people have nothing to complain about following the first TSC and union salary phase, not everyone is pleased with the new Payrise.
Some teachers in some groups smiled widely when they paid in their new monthly salary, which they obtained as a consequence of signing a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The first section of the Teachers Wage Hike CBA was signed by the Kenya National Unions of Teachers (KNUT) and Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the teachers’ employer.
Among the other parties to the significant agreement are the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) and the Kenya Union of Special Needs Education Teachers (KUSNET).
Five teacher pay grades—C4, C5, D4, and D5—became losers following the new wage evaluation under the CBA since they did not obtain pay increases.
The pay for teachers in Grades C4 and C5 stayed at SH 52, 308 and SH 62, 272, respectively.
