Release Date For TSC Promotion Letters. The destiny of teachers who attended promotion interviews in December and January has been made public by the top official of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
The TSC Chairperson, Jamleck Muturi, stated that all was ready for the distribution of promotion letters in a video that has since gone viral. Muturi was speaking to teachers who had attended the Mwalimu National Sacco Annual General Conference (AGM) in Meru.

“We completed everything on January 24th, and 36,505 instructors will be promoted. Teachers applauded Muturi when he announced, “From last year to February this year, we are promoting over fifty one thousand teachers.”
Muturi attributed the huge number of teacher promotions to President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.
Last week TSC Chief Executive, Dr. Nancy Macharia said over 36,000 promotion letters will start trickling down to counties in a week time.
Over one hundred and fifty thousand primary and post primary school teachers who were shortlisted and attended promotion interviews had waited with bated breath for the letters.
The Commission will issue letters to both successful and unsuccessful teachers who attended the interviews.
Those successful will be issued with promotional letters and will be required to submit five Chapter six documents to complete their promotion and allow their posting.

From December 4 to December 15, 2023, primary school teachers were interviewed.
Interviews for secondary school teachers and Teacher Training College (TTC) tutors took place between January 3 and January 16, 2024.
