KUCCPS 2026 Application. Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba, this afternoon held a high-level meeting with officials from the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) on preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year placement cycle.
The KUCCPS team, led by Board Chair Cyrus Gituai and CEO Dr. Agnes Wahome, briefed the Cabinet Secretary on the ongoing readiness and processes for the placement exercise.
The 2026/2027 placement cycle officially opened today, Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
According to KUCCPS, the placement portal will remain open until May 6, 2026, giving eligible students ample time to apply for their preferred universities and colleges.
This cycle is expected to place thousands of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates into various higher learning institutions across the country.
