TSC claims that the Ministry of Education charges Ksh2,500 per student for the course.
In addition, this is a component of Kenya’s National Digital Master Plan 2022–2032. It aims to improve and spread Kenyans’ digital literacy.
A certificate will be awarded upon completion and evaluation by the government. This is according to the TSC. However, “The training will be self-sponsored at a cost of Ksh2,500 per person for basic digital skills.”
The TSC directed all regional directors, county directors, and sub-county directors to make sure that every teacher under their respective authority received a copy of the circular.
