The 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results are set to be released today, January 9, 2025.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba will announce the results at New Mitihani House in South C, Nairobi.
The 2024 KCSE exams took place in 10,755 centres, with a record-high of 965,501 candidates sitting the exams, an increase from 903,138 in 2023.
The marking of exams concluded on December 13, 2024, after an extensive effort by examiners across 35 designated marking centres.
The release of KCSE exams comes a day after the Kenya National Examination Council released the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports.

KPSEA was administered between October 28 and November 1, with a total of 1,303,913 Grade 6 students across Kenya sitting for the exam.
The exams covered a range of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Integrated Science, Kiswahili, Creative Arts, and Social Studies
All the 1,303,913 candidates who sat the KPSEA across 35,573 centres countrywide will transition to Grade 7, which is still domiciled within their respective primary schools.
